Furbello ("we", "us") provides scheduling and customer-management software for grooming businesses. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), and business details you provide during signup.
  • Business data — customers, pets, appointments, services, notes, and photos your business enters into Furbello. This data belongs to your business.
  • Usage data — log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use information

  • To provide and operate the service, including sending appointment confirmations and reminders on your behalf.
  • To secure accounts (verification codes, session management, audit logs).
  • To communicate with you about the service.
  • We do not sell your data or your customers' data.

Email and SMS

Furbello sends transactional email and SMS text messages (appointment confirmations, reminders, and pickup notifications) on behalf of grooming businesses. SMS is only sent to customers who have given express consent during booking. Message frequency varies with your appointments, and message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except as required to deliver the messages themselves (our SMS carrier).

Data storage and security

Data is stored in managed cloud infrastructure. Pet photos are stored in private storage and served only through short-lived signed links to authorized team members. Passwords are hashed, sessions are stored server-side, and access to each business's data is restricted to that business's team.

Data retention and deletion

We retain business data while your account is active. You may request export or deletion of your business's data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. Contact us and we will respond promptly.
