Before you start
- Only the owner can delete the account. Admins, groomers, and front desk staff don't see the option.
- Have your password handy: you type it, along with your business name, to confirm.
- Just want to stop paying? You can cancel your subscription on the Billing page instead and keep your data.
Delete your account in four steps
Step 1
Open Settings and tap Delete account
In the menu, open Settings and scroll to the bottom. Delete account is the last link on the page, under your account cards.
Step 2
Save a copy of your data
The first step shows exactly what will be erased, with your real numbers: clients, pets, visits, pet photos, documents and receipts, and team logins.
Download what you want to keep while the account is still open: your clients and pets in one Excel file or two CSV files, plus your payments, sales for QuickBooks, and expenses since you joined.
Step 3
Tell us why, if you like
Pick a reason and add a note if you want to. It's optional, and Skip moves you on. There are no offers or extra questions.
Step 4
Choose when, then confirm
- Keep for 30 days, then delete is chosen for you. The account closes now and everything is erased 30 days later. Until then you can sign in and restore it.
- Delete everything now erases everything right away. It can't be undone, so you tick I understand this can't be undone too.
Type your business name and your password, then tap Close my account or Delete everything now.
What happens right away
Pages your booking page, website, and client links say the page is no longer available.
Messages reminders, texts, and emails to your clients stop.
Billing your subscription is canceled right away and saved cards come off. Payments already made aren't refunded.
Team everyone is signed out and can't sign in to the business.
Connections Square, Stripe, Clover, QuickBooks, and your website domain are disconnected.
What gets erased
Everything in the account: clients, pets, visits, photos, documents, agreements, messages, services, schedules, your website, settings, and the logins of everyone who worked only for your business. Your email also comes off our newsletter list.
We keep only a short record that the account was deleted (its name and dates, nothing about your clients), and past invoices, as tax law requires. You get one last email when the erasing is done.
Changed your mind?
With the 30 day option, sign in any time before the date. You'll see when the account will be deleted, with Restore my account and Delete everything now.
Restoring brings everything back as it was. Choose a plan again on the Billing page, and reconnect any payment, QuickBooks, or website domain connections. Your team can sign in again.
